In his twenty years at Oliver Wyman, he has worked in over twenty countries helping leading companies in these sectors to define their strategy and improve their performance. In recent years he combines his time working with clients and managing the practice. Most of his work as a consultant has been with telecommunications operators. Rafa has worked for more than twenty convergent, mobile and fixed operators on general management issues, corporate and business strategy, marketing and sales, customer management, network, technology and systems, finance, human resources, and mergers and acquisitions. He has led projects on the redefinition of competitive strategy, restructuring and reorganization, digital transformation, quality and cost reduction, improving revenues and margins, increasing the value of the customer base, launching new operations, integrating companies, and others. Rafa holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a MBA from the University of Houston.
